Abstract

EFFECT of WORK TRAINING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT on EMPLOYEE PERFOMANCE at

ABSTRACT
 

This research is aimed to determine whether the Work Training and the Career Development have an effect to the Employee Performance. This research is used 115 population of the employee at PT. Dayacipta Kemasindo. This research used the sample amount 100 respondents, the method to collect the data is questionnaire with the simple random sampling technic as the collection technic. The hypothesis testing this research used statistic model analysis which consisted of validity test, reliability test, double linear regression, F-test, T-test and determination condition (R2).


From the result of analyzing, the author found the results as follow. From double linear is obtained the equality of Y = 5,838 + 0,315X1 + 0,577X2 in which if the Work Training (X1) has the increase or the reduction amount 1 points and the others variables is reputed constant. Then, the employee performance is experienced the increase or reduction amount 0,315. Besides if Career Development (X2) has the increase or reduction amount 1 points and the other variables is reputed constant. Then, the employee performance is experienced the increase or reduction amount 0,577. From the analysis of correlation coefficient correlation is showed by Work Training correlation coefficient amount 0,731 approached 1 and the Career Development correlation coefficient amount 0,791 approached 1. Then it has the strong and positive relation toward the employee performance at PT. Dayacipta Kemasindo. From the result of model 1 of F-test is obtained the value amount 112,543 and for model 2 amount 96,085 in which that value is higher than F table amount 3,09 so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. On t normal distribution table which is used and used the degree of error (α) amount 5% with the degree of freedom or (df) n - 2 = 100 - 2 = 98, then the table t of distribution table is 1,98447. T-test is known that the result of t count for Work Training (X1) is amount 3,336 > 1,98447 and t count for Career Development (X2) is amount 6,132 > 1,98447 so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that both of variable have the strong and positive relation.
