PENGARUH POLA KOMUNIKASI ORGANISASI TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT MELESSI FAJAR ABADI
Abstract
Effective organizational communication is essential for building a productive work environment and enhancing employee motivation. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational communication patterns on employee work motivation at PT Melessi Fajar Abadi. A quantitative approach was employed with one independent variable, namely Organizational Communication Patterns (X), and one dependent variable, namely Work Motivation (Y). Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents, representing all employees of PT Melessi Fajar Abadi, using a saturated sampling method. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis with the assistance of SmartPLS version 4.1.1.4. Descriptive statistics were used to provide an overview of communication patterns and employee motivation, while path analysis was used to examine the relationship between variables. The results show that organizational communication patterns have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, with a path coefficient value of 0.802 and a significance value (p-value) < 0.05. The R Square value of 0.643 indicates that 64.3% of the variation in work motivation can be explained by organizational communication patterns. Vertical communication, horizontal communication, and the effective use of communication media enhance employee engagement and collaboration. The positive impact is reflected in the company’s revenue growth from IDR 30.59 billion (2023) to IDR 59.64 billion (2024), an increase of approximately 94.9%. Therefore, it can be concluded that effective organizational communication significantly contributes to increasing employee motivation at PT Melessi Fajar Abadi.
