Abstract

Education is a fundamental pillar of national development, as it plays a crucial role in improving the quality of human resources. The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Education and Culture, has implemented various educational assistance programs, one of which is the Indonesia Smart Program (Program Indonesia Pintar – PIP). This program aims to provide equal access to education for students from underprivileged families so that they can complete their education from primary to secondary levels and even continue to higher education through the Indonesia Smart Card (Kartu Indonesia Pintar – KIP). Along with the increasing number of beneficiaries and the growing allocation of funds each year, PIP has become one of the government’s strategic policies to reduce dropout rates and improve educational participation across Indonesia. This research is expected to contribute academically to the fields of sentiment analysis and text mining, particularly in the context of public policy evaluation using social media data. Furthermore, the findings of this study can serve as valuable input for policymakers and relevant stakeholders in evaluating and improving the implementation of the Indonesia Smart Program based on public perceptions captured from social media platforms.
