Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven digital transformation in various sectors, including the fashion industry. The use of e-commerce information systems has become a strategic solution to increase business competitiveness, expand market reach, and improve the quality of service to customers. This study aims to analyze and design a web-based fashion e-commerce information system that can overcome frequently encountered problems, such as inefficient transaction processes, suboptimal data management, information security, and poor user experience. The research methodology used includes direct observation of ongoing business processes, literature studies as a theoretical basis, and system design using a structured approach. The developed e-commerce system is equipped with various key features, including a product catalog, stock management, ordering and payment systems, customer reviews, order tracking, and an integrated admin dashboard to facilitate data management and operations. To ensure the designed system meets user needs and expectations, testing was conducted using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method. The test results indicate that the system is well received by users, easy to use, and able to meet the established functional requirements. Thus, this web-based fashion e-commerce information system is expected to increase operational efficiency, provide a more optimal shopping experience for consumers, and be a real contribution to the development of fashion e-commerce in Indonesia that is oriented towards user needs.
